Shipping clerks manage the contents of airplanes and ships, cars, containers and trucks; transport between the airport and the plane; receipt, delivery, measurement and documentation of cargo at a loading point (warehouse) or loading point.

What to do:

These are important tasks management will change tasks or require other tasks to work when necessary, respecting, of course, all legal tasks, including collective agreement tasks. Move bags and various heavy loads to and from the plane
Drive and operate belt conveyors
Airport service can be low and air-conditioned
Turn and shoot the plane through the gate
Airport toilets in the port
Clean the interior of the aircraft as needed
Keep the drink and the truck near the ramp
Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Flexibility includes regular and/or long hours, weekends and holidays.

Everything you need to succeed
High school diploma or GED or national equivalent
Must be 18 years or older
Pick up, load, unload and transport luggage and transport to/from aircraft, luggage and conveyor belts
Must have knowledge and ability to use basic computer skills
People are highly motivated, positive and cooperative
Good communication skills
Valid driving license as required by local authorities
Must be able to obtain appropriate security badges from airport officials and/or US Customs, if applicable
Completion of pre-employment drug screening, comprehensive background check and/or fingerprinting to meet company and security requirements.
Eligibility for Jet Bridge certification
Must be able to pass a US Postal Service background check
