Full Job Description:
The WPVI-TV Broadcast Systems Specialist will be involved in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment and systems in the broadcast room. The candidate should have a passion for media engineering/mathematics and be comfortable with current media technologies, concepts and emerging trends (i.e. media over IP, cloud, etc.) . Work
Installation, configuration and daily maintenance/troubleshooting of media systems
Provide operational support for end users; Respond to tickets and help desk calls
Relationships with third party vendors and support staff
Lead, execute and complete tasks as directed by management
Follow Disney’s policies and best practices in the media environment
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
Have strong engineering, computer/network and troubleshooting skills.
At least three years of experience working with RF equipment such as microwave equipment, etc. Show quality in system documentation and drawing.
Have good interpersonal skills. Self-starter and able to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and as part of a diverse team.
Be project oriented, organized and able to show a list of past projects from concept to completion. Demonstrated ability to project and manage changing needs under tight deadlines.
Willing to spread knowledge through emerging media industry concepts/technologies. WPVI-TV is a 24/7 job and the applicant may be required to work non-traditional shifts, weekends/holidays, and be willing to be on call and/or work long hours if available. important. Applicant must be able to lift and carry essential equipment. Eligibility of candidates

Broadcast automation systems and related equipment
