Yelp is seeking a part-time B2B Social Media Specialist to join our growing social media team. The candidate is good at telling good stories, adapts quickly to ever-changing social media, and can pull metrics to show their progress. As the only B2B focused Social Media Specialist on the team, you will work with other team members and other contributors inside and outside of Yelp to develop content that drives Yelp traffic. The goal is to build meaningful and meaningful relationships with business owners in all sectors, from hotels and nightclubs to water carriers and painters. Will will manage the day-to-day and growth of Yelp’s B2B social media business on Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and new social media channels like TikTok. You should have first-hand knowledge of the nature of B2B social media, a passion for building a community of online business owners, and creating quality videos and static content. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing social media team, help grow Yelp, and help local businesses succeed.

What To Do:

You will manage the Yelp B2B content calendar for Instagram, Twitter and potential new channels, such as TikTok, including writing and creating visual assets through Canva and/or designing and editing videos. You’ll help grow the Yelp for Business YouTube channel while managing community engagement.
You will discover trends and conversations in the B2B space for content creation opportunities. You will use social listening/reflection tools to support improvements in B2B social media strategies.
You will work closely with the content marketing team to coordinate social content and blog posts and relevant event promotions. You will run a paid B2B social media campaign.

What It Takes To Be Successful:

You have a bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication or English, or relevant professional experience. You have 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience supporting growing B2B properties in a corporate environment.
You have social experience in videos and channels such as: Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc. You have experience writing B2B social media and creating visual assets for multiple accounts.
You have experience running paid advertising campaigns. You have experience in community management.
You have great attention to detail, you’re not afraid to try new things, and you’re happy to roll your sleeves up and get things done. You are a creator at heart.
