Full Job Description:
The Business Operations & Strategy team is responsible for relating areas of improvement and driving the strategy behind those functional changes to deliver incremental and sustainable growth in user donation, business, and profit. As an Critic, you will work cross- functionally with various corridor of our business to support these enterprise. We work with our Deals association to help design its incitement compensation system, birdman new products and price points to vend to business owners. We collude with our Marketing team to identify new and more effective ways to acquire new guests. We copulate with our Community Management association to help identify new ways to encourage donation (e.g. reviews, prints) from Yelp stoners. We unite with our Product armies to give analysis demanded to help determine the most poignant product priorities.
What you’ll do
- You will copulate across Yelp’s business units and use analytically driven perceptivity to make strategic business opinions that will deliver strong financial results.
- You will give first rate logical support via hands- on Excel work while using other tools as necessary (SQL, Salesforce, Python, Google Analytics).
- You will identify practicable perceptivity, exercise sound business judgment, suggest recommendations, and impact the direction of Yelp’s business by effectively working with and communicating results to cross functional groups.
- You will produce Tableau dashboards that give visibility into KPIs, marketing effectiveness and business trends drivers.
What it takes to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or original, ideally in Business, Math, Economics, or a related field.
- You have former applicable business experience working logical problems using quantitative approaches.
- You have been exposed to a variety of different business models and functions.
- You are passionate about assaying data using your exceptional Excel modeling chops. Experience with SQL is a plus.
- You are an exceptional problem solver with the capability to transition between detailed data and high- position perceptivity.
- You have excellent interpersonal chops and are suitable to communicate effectively and unite seamlessly across armies.
- You are suitable to engage and work efficiently with both executive operation and front- line workers.
