Support Associates provide email support to Yelp users and business owners, in addition to performing cross-functional tasks to support our internal team. This job also includes opportunities for further specialization in legal, civil or business support services. The support team receives many requests ranging from help with account access, help with claiming business pages, business return processing, bug/usage checking and general presence. Each case is different and offers a unique opportunity to be a problem solver. Regardless of the type of case or concern, we are advocates for our user community and are ready to thoroughly investigate and resolve any Yelp community issues. As Yelp relies on our amazing community of employees and business owners to thrive and succeed, our #1 goal is to ensure that our user experience is the best it can be. We are experts in the Yelp product and how it works. Our goal is to resolve or correct problems in a timely and friendly manner. Most of our cases come from our support center, but we also provide support through other channels such as social media and our app store. Most of our work is self-directed, so you’ll need to be an effective manager of your time to meet your weekly decision-making goals. You must be open to constructive feedback and willing to work as a team.
What To Do:
You must provide email support to Yelp customers
You will handle all types of cases and requests with great care and detail while meeting quality and goal limits
You will provide feedback to management for possible process improvements
You will write structured messages to the end user/audience for internal and external communication
