Our engineering team designs, builds and operates the core systems that help Yelp developers deliver world-class service. We are passionate about optimizing the engineering process and providing unique development experiences while developing robust, highly reliable systems. As the Lead Engineer for Yelp’s JVM team, you will lead, manage, and develop a team of engineers skilled in building infrastructure to enhance and improve the Java developer experience. Your team will develop production tools and libraries, and help establish best practices to help authors write high-quality, high-performance code in Java, Scala, and Kotlin. These frameworks will allow developers to work with many of our critical systems that enable Search, Advertising, ML, Data Infra and Android products.

Help the team be more productive by removing roadblocks and improving team processes.
