Warehouse Managers (Transport Specialists) are responsible for inventory accuracy and warehouse support. Warehouse planners (transportation specialists) ensure that purchase orders are at their proper inventory level, which helps in planning and delivery. The warehouse coordinator is also responsible for clearance, logistics, and driver documentation. What to do:
Use Wayfair’s inventory system to ensure the “perfect” order goes smoothly, from receipt at checkout to shipping for delivery.
Identify various issues such as damage, missing shipments, shipping errors, oversized/oversized cartons, etc., and resolve these issues, engaging with customer service and other relevant teams.
List of cargo returning after delivery or rejection, increase of missing cargo reporting and terminal management.
Establish an outbound shipment process (return, disposal, donation, disposal) and maintain relationships with the logistics providers.
Print all the necessary documents for the delivery team, correcting errors
Write and distribute “end of change” reports to end users and partner organizations as required
Provide feedback on processes and tools
Supports customer service and other team members in their efforts to maintain customer satisfaction
What you will need
2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Ability to lift over 75 lbs to assist warehouse team as required
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-facing approach
Ability to multitask and navigate different systems and tools
Well organized and detail oriented
Good at Microsoft Office and learning new technologies
Be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and finding solutions
Experience in logistics or travel
