Full Job Description:

Electricians directly support a variety of equipment for restaurants, retail businesses, arcades and attractions at Disneyland Resort® parks and hotels. Examples of equipment and supporting systems include vending machines, timers, arcade games, vending machines, counting machines, sewing machines, clocks, electronic vehicle (EV) chargers, model trains and guns. Assistance provided by electrical mechanics includes the operation and inspection of machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot system/product issues. We overhaul, maintain and replace machinery and equipment. We perform quality checks on the finished product to ensure safe operation. We directly support many restaurants, merchandise, arcades and attractions at our parks and hotels.

Role:

Operational and Operational Analysis: Processes and equipment must be able to start and operate safely in order to operate effectively. You must be able to use the operating instructions and manuals/schematics to operate your equipment safely and know what to do if the equipment malfunctions. Troubleshoot Miscellaneous Problems/Equipment: Must be able to learn how to use equipment in order to identify faults. Drawings, manuals, productions, as well as various tools and measuring instruments (such as multimeters, measuring instruments, zero-scopes, etc.) are available to diagnose and correct the faulty device. You may have to work in restaurants, shops, stores, transport and stores.

Review, maintenance, repair, modification of various machines and equipment: Receive advice from other team members and production consultants to carry out and follow the necessary design. All activities require lifting above and below the waist, bending, stooping, climbing (stairs), standing and walking extensively throughout labor. Technicians use hand tools, power tools, small chemicals and static electricity to disassemble, test, clean, recycle and replace parts.

Basic Qualities:

Schedule Availability – Must be open for all shifts (1st shift, 2nd and 3rd shifts), including weekends and holidays, and must have days off in any combination. Weekends and Holidays are available.

Ability:

  • Experience using digital multimeters (DMMs), o-scopes and various specialty tools used in mechanical, electrical and electronics engineering.
  • Basic computer skills required to perform writing tasks/work.
  • There is the possibility of being able to repair on the fly some old equipment and the game where it is no longer available.
  • Ability to apply Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines to work in restaurants and food preparation areas.
