The Technology Development Team (TDG) is looking for a part-time AR/VR System UI Engineer to help define and build next-generation user experiences on our platforms using the latest technologies from Apple, including RealityKit and ARKit.
At least 2 years of experience in software development
Experience working with complex building and equipment is fun
Expertise in Swift, C++ or ObjC
Familiarity with SwiftUI and/or UIKit
Attention to detail, creativity and passion. Explanation
You will work on applications and practices that define the overall experience of our platforms; ultimately impact how our customers use our products. System apps such as the home screen and behaviors such as multitasking and app switching define important interaction patterns for Apple’s iOS, tvOS and watchOS platforms. Collaborate with Apple’s UI system, human designers and application teams – inspire you to think outside the box and solve difficult and exciting problems in AR / VR.
You will work with technologies such as the new SwiftUI and RealityKit frameworks, UIKit and ARKit. You will have access to a variety of frameworks and internals that will allow you to create applications that are deeply integrated with our operating system.
Academic Experience
BS in Computer Science or equivalent
