Quality Engineering’s AdTech team designs powerful testing solutions for growing stores and media organizations. As a G1 company, Walmart works at scale, pushing the boundaries of sources and cloud solutions. We support teams by building a solid foundation to thrive. If you’re passionate about testing and want to manage a team that delivers the ultimate in scalability and open source tools, this is the place to do it. We are looking for an experienced QA engineer with a solid background in front-end testing for client web applications. The ideal person will have experience and knowledge of these, but most importantly must have a passion for being part of the solution to deliver a high quality product.
What to do:
Lead/participate in QA testing for large e-commerce web applications, tools and/or software
Supports continuous improvement of the input process and innovation
Write test plans and test cases (automated)
Develop, optimize and identify opportunities for improving the software development lifecycle
Identify critical flaws in software encryption
Work with developers and engineers to achieve a high level of code coverage
What to bring:
3+ years of experience developing and testing highly complex e-commerce platforms
Hands on programming, automation scripting, JAVA testing experience, Selenium driver
Extensive manual and automated, some manual analysis
Experience with Agile methodology preferred
Problem solving skills at work
Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
Candidate Qualifications:
Experience with continuous integration and related applications (Jenkins)
Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git
API software testing experience
Good tablet and mobile app testing experience
