CastleGate Forwarding is a digital forwarding agency within Wayfair’s extensive CastleGate Logistics network. Wayfair provides a variety of logistics services (Asian integration, shipping, shipping, customs brokerage, freight insurance, etc.) to provide competitive and convenient logistics solutions to our suppliers. As a member of CGF, you will play a key role in the growth and success of our business strategy. This is a highly visible and exciting role, which will give the candidate the opportunity to play an important part in our grand vision. As we continue our relationships with our CGF suppliers, we will demonstrate our success by increasing supplier satisfaction and increasing CastleGate Logistics’ percentage of shipments for all shippers.
What I do:
- Develop, establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers/customers using CGF services.
- Manage the performance and growth of sales force portfolios across verticals and categories.
- Create and implement account management tools such as dashboards, dashboards and KPI data to drive continuous improvement and build engagement.
- Support for the growth of the CGF financial management team
- Master the seller experience and improve NPS (i.e. customer satisfaction) across all of your products with powerful collaboration.
- Define, track and develop volume growth and revenue drivers for each vendor account
- Identify opportunities and work with different teams to improve internal processes based on supplier feedback and bottlenecks
- Facilitate seller questions and problem solving. Also, become a master of increasing customers.
- Review and support service improvements to further strengthen our recommendations.
- Contribute to the development of new tools, processes and technologies that make the team more efficient and effective. Drive operational excellence and innovation to achieve business goals for revenue, efficiency and profitability.
- Manage many important aspects in a face-to-face environment with effective communication and follow-up. Establish a quality improvement process that supports annual improvement.

- Significant experience in managing key figures in the logistics/transportation industry with strong work experience
- A passion for knowledge management with the ability to coach and develop teams to set goals and performance.
- Excellent writing and communication skills – confident, succinct, able to interact with internal/external partners and leaders
- Experience building customer relationships and responding directly to negative feedback
- Willingness to help build teams as needed to grow manager’s growing numbers
- A self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment with some level of uncertainty.
- Analytical, creative and innovative for problem solving
- Ability to interact and work well with people in a professional environment
- Strong comfort in using Excel and Powerpoint to work with data and communicate ideas
- Advanced understanding of the transportation and logistics industry
- A bachelor’s degree is required
