Walmart is looking to add a director of inventory to its team. As the Head of Data Collection, you will be responsible for building and growing a team of research professionals within our data collection team. You will focus on building a strong data analytics culture, establishing robust testing, navigation, and insight skills – and through it, you will achieve exceptional business results. You have to be ready and willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done when needed. Are you an experienced data analytics leader who has managed and mentored senior data analytics leaders? Do you have the technical skills to generate ideas quickly and the interpersonal skills to communicate those ideas in a persuasive manner? Are you a thought leader with extensive experience building and delivering research product solutions across e-commerce and retail?

What to do:

Manage product inspection warrants. Get all OCR scans
Serve as a thought leader and trusted advisor to product leaders and the broader product management team by collaborating with them throughout the product lifecycle from discovery to A/T B testing, through assessment and early childhood education.
Define key metrics and real-time monitoring for them to measure product performance and monitor product health
Access clickstream data to identify customer experience improvement opportunities and influence product mapping. Perform conversion analysis, funnel analysis, impact sizing to influence decision making.
Lead the Product Analytics team to design and execute A/B testing, observational inference, predictive analytics to identify and quantify the impact of new product functionality as a continuous discipline to improve product functionality and provide better experiences to customers on all platforms such as Desktop, Mobile, etc… Lead the product development team in designing and creating engaging dashboards and data visualizations to gain product insights.
Lead the product development team to gather insights, test and analyze data and provide actionable recommendations that address product improvement opportunities.
The teaching team and the teacher to achieve the best results in the classroom and manage many products and plans.
Collaborate with product and business stakeholders across multiple regions to effectively identify opportunities, develop business skills, develop team relationships, and develop best-in-class data analytics solutions.
Develop effective relationships with cross-functional teams that include product, engineering, program, and data science leaders to make data-driven decisions.

What to bring:

Strong track record in building and delivering research product solutions in the e-commerce and retail sector. Accomplished storyteller – well versed in telling stories from data. Strong ability to understand and influence business and limited management skills. You have a strong passion for action, like to find order in the midst of chaos, and have demonstrated success in using research to drive business impact.
Strong experience in using analytical tools for visualization, measurement and testing such as Tableau, Looker, Adobe Omniture, Statsig, Google Analytics, Quantum Metric, Splunk, etc. Strong hands-on experience with millions of database records using SQL-based query languages ​​(MS SQL, MY SQL, HIVE, big queries)
