Full Job Description:
In accordance with state and federal laws, performs data entry and patient registration. Responsible for resolving other disputes and answering high-level customer inquiries, working under direct supervision. Using the Walgreens prescription data entry system and instructions, processes new patient registration by entering data into the appropriate system. Process patient prescription requests in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and enter fill orders for processing. Addresses issues with missing prescription information and defines drug templates (SIG codes). Handles all issues related to data entry. Operate automated machines, prepare medications, move inventory through various levels of the work process with a focus on quality control.
Read and fill prescriptions, label, pack and ship. Cleans and helps maintain machines and maintains a clean work area.
Handles other requests by analyzing, collecting information, making corrections, and submitting for processing according to individual requirements. Helping pharmacists, both in-house and out-of-state. Identifies and escalates issues as appropriate. Basic Qualifications:
