To Work:
- Supervise the operation of the store and staff. This includes assigning daily tasks, assigning tasks to members, opening/closing/changing, approving timesheets, and managing time off and other conflicts. Make sure people join the group.
- Drive the future of Walgreen stores by working with other partners. Identify ways to promote partnerships and external services as a resource for business leaders looking to expand into the community.
- He assists the Store Manager in using data, analytics and team members to determine accuracy, compliance and performance monitoring. Oversee cash management, including but not limited to cash registers, bank withdrawals, truck storage, safe deposit, change orders, and overseeing all aspects of safekeeping
- Monitor inventory at Receiving and Pharmacy and perform returns/adjustments and price adjustments. Consult the storefront and pharmacy to create the right treatment plan. Train/direct members to follow the goods working process. Deploying and supervising team members ensures performance feedback from Store Managers and Regional Managers.
- Make sure the inside and outside of the store are clean and visible. Manage repairs and maintenance. Respond to emergencies. Ensure members have a working knowledge of all computer and technology systems and software.
- Ensure the safety and health of associates. Use the security desktop correctly. Manage the operation of the office, including adherence to all company policies and procedures, and compliance with all laws and regulations, including the sale of alcohol, tobacco, fresh food and medications.

Overall store management performance
- Independently review financial and operational information. Develop action plans to support the achievement of business results.
- Engage your team with performance messaging, KPIs, and other relevant tools. Pilot solutions and actions to improve your store.
- Work with your store manager to identify sales opportunities, gain insights, and implement service desk practices to ensure store growth and performance with new ideas.

- Communicate regularly with team members through one-on-one and group meetings to ensure open communication between leaders and teams.

Qualification
- A bachelor’s degree with academic record, all majors welcome or completion of the Walgreens Community Internship Program or a high school diploma/GED and two years of experience in a supervisory position (direct instruction not required must have) .
- Proven leadership ability including business ethics, self-motivation, strong communication skills and business acumen.
- Willingness to complete the Leadership Training Program (LEAP) or Walgreens Leadership Essentials training (for individuals entering the ESM role on or after June 1, 2021) within 12 weeks of the ESM start date.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English (except Puerto Rico)
- You are willing to work flexible hours including overtime, night work and weekend work.
- If there is a promotion that would require you to move to another store, you would be happy to accept a promotion to store manager.
