Full Job Description:
This position performs complex tasks and leverages knowledge of rapid development processes, hardware specifications, and other technologies to create a complete solution, within quality, service level, schedule, and budget.
Professional Services:
Works with complexity and leverages knowledge of software development processes, hardware specifications, and other technologies to deliver design solutions, within quality, service level, schedule, and budget. Directs the day-to-day work of the project team responsible for writing code and scripts for the required functionality of software, products and web-based programs.
Software updates and develops new front-end applications and resources.
Creates and reviews design documents that oversee development across the IT/Engineering organization. Participates in the definition of the IT / Engineering architecture to ensure that the solutions of the IT / Engineering organization are built into the planning process.
May create technical “visions” and specifications for assigned projects and may lead implementation. Serve as a technical and business resource for software development staff on a wide range of software design issues.
Ensure software and program defects are investigated in assigned projects or activities and summarize and present findings to management. Continually share information to improve workflow. Interact with internal and external peers and management to share complex information related to areas of expertise and/or gain acceptance of new or improved technology/business solutions. Collects and updates relevant information and communicates information to appropriate parties.
Participates in the development of new or improved technology / business technology tools. Provides subject matter expertise to team members with limited experience. Can assign and track the work of individual contributors. Participates in the teaching and training of staff members.
