Full Job Description:
Responsible for implementing health care policies and driving patient health outcomes. Performs clinical programs that assist the patient and ensure compliance with clinical services. He oversees the execution of the pharmacy program of the identified partners. Directs pharmacy financial operations by implementing pharmacy programs to maximize reimbursement and improve patient health outcomes. It is responsible for the remote control system. Fosters strong relationships with the medical community in assigned areas and acts as an agency representative and liaison. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for pharmacists and other executives. Maintains current knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and maintains required licenses.

Performs direct patient care activities including, but not limited to, medication management activities, immunization activities, and hospital and payer activities and admissions. Leads the execution of multiple business plans and projects to ensure business needs are met. Promotes compliance and continuous quality improvement in the delivery of care and clinical patient services through learning, evaluation and process improvement; monitoring and evaluation of results; and making changes. Assists in ensuring regional pharmacy compliance with regulations, standard operating procedures and FDA regulations. Drives regional pharmacy financial performance by aligning business strategy with corporate financial goals. Develops and executes patient assistance clinic programs to increase financial performance. Support efforts to improve the patient experience and focus on health services (e.g. patient assessment, medication management, drug therapy research and commercial, clinical or wellness services such as immunizations, disease state management and programs) special).
Provides expertise, resources, training and support to pharmacists and leaders in the field. Facilitates employee training experiences and development opportunities. Promotes teamwork and motivates pharmacy staff by promoting a vision that supports policies, procedures, information, principles and standards of ethics and integrity. Conducts data and clinical research and takes necessary actions to ensure the accuracy and quality of medicine.
Review drug history and patient profile to ensure appropriate and safe drug therapy.
Provides individualized patient/provider counseling.
By using excellent communication skills, gaining the trust of patients by listening to their words and providing a voice for pharmacy concerns. Provides feedback on the effectiveness of customer loyalty programs, including patient feedback and the value of one-on-one consultations.
Handles all questions, discussions and issues related to immediate patient care. Provides health advice and information to patients, physicians and insurance plans as needed.
Performs other duties consistent with the job duties described herein, as assigned by management. Follow instructions and procedures for all tasks to achieve goals. Adheres to company policies and procedures, including all HIPAA regulations/regulations. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws.
