Full Job Description:

Responsibility

According to the country’s law and government, helps the pharmacy, support the quality of the care, working for the store. Helps the pharmacy and performance of other medical sections as industrial systems. It is responsible for using the drug system to access patient and drug information and the prescription process. If certified by PTCB or ExCPT, assists and trains pharmacy operators in the operation of the pharmacy system and providers of pharmacy accounting services. Design and deliver unique and exciting customer experiences.

Customer experience

Attract customers and patients by greeting them and helping with products and services. Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
Models and shares best practices for customers with all teams to deliver a unique and enjoyable customer experience, including social behaviors (e.g. greeting, looking, courtesy, etc.) and Walgreens service characteristics ( for example, helping, identifying needs, serving until satisfied, etc.). Develops strong relationships with the most valuable customers.

Work

Under the supervision of a pharmacist, assist in pharmacy practice in accordance with state, federal and corporate laws. Review and adhere to Walgreen Co.’s Code of Conduct. Pharmacy.
Performs duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Pharmacist and Store Manager, including using the pharmacy system to enter patient and medication information, ensuring information is entered correctly, filling prescriptions by picking up , counting and dispensing medications, verifying that medications are correct and checking interactions. Assists pharmacists in organizing and managing work processes.
Reports prescription errors directly to the pharmacist on duty and follows company policies and procedures related to clinical errors and quality improvement programs. Strongly supports the Walgreen Co. policy. regarding the distribution of good faith during all existing prescription distribution programs.
Accountable and responsible for recording all sales related to assigned accounts, collects and manages funds as required. Brings the customer to the OTC aisle when possible to help find products.
Handle phone calls that do not require the attention of a pharmacist, including those of doctors. Processes (prepares and resubmits) manuals for third party prescribing activities in a timely and efficient manner, and performs other clerical duties, as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager.
Assists and supports the pharmaceutical department in inventory management activities, such as ordering, shipping, tracking and storing pharmaceutical shipments. Maintains knowledge of the company’s asset protection procedures and files statements for warehouse overages (goods received, but not invoiced), shortages (invoiced, but not received), ordering errors or damaged goods related to Rx drugs.
May assist the Pharmacist in performing clinical duties, including the collection and proper labeling of patient blood/fluids and other clinical duties as required; Assists hospital staff in the coordination of health care services, Walgreens Hospitals and external providers. Assists the pharmacy manager and pharmacy staff in developing and maintaining positive relationships with the local health community, including physicians, nurses and other health care providers, through ‘to explain and educate health associations, retirement homes, nursing homes and other organizations to improve growth opportunities.
Assists in operations and operations by ensuring that the pharmacy department is stocked with adequate supplies that are clean, safe and in order in condition and appearance. Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with colleagues.
