Full Job Description:
Telemedicine doctors will be responsible for meeting, examining and diagnosing patients through telehealth and provide them with medical services in accordance with the applicable standards of care. They will be responsible for providing patients with appropriate medications, health procedures, and lifestyle changes that will help them recover from diagnosed medical conditions, prevent future health problems, and/or improve healthy lifestyles. Board certification in internal medicine, emergency medicine, or family medicine is required.
Minimum Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in an in-person primary care setting (non-telehealth) required for primary care providers
18 months of post-residency clinical experience, including experience prescribing appropriate medications, treatments, and medical procedures to address patient health issues. MARYLAND. or D O. Accreditation by an accredited medical institution. Successful completion of residential care in approved nursing homes.
Board certification in internal medicine, emergency medicine, or family medicine from the American Board of Medical Specialties, the American Osteopathic Association, the American Board of Urgent Care Medicine, or the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. Internal medicine or family medicine certification required for primary care providers
A state medical examiner’s license was not obtained.
