The Global Merchant Services (GMS) pricing team is responsible for providing premium pricing to American Express’ largest market, Discount Revenue. These teams offer customer pricing to improve adoption, expand coverage, increase customer satisfaction, and drive GMS revenue and profit growth. The business is based on the principles of customer-oriented pricing, dynamic pricing and innovative pricing solutions. Within the GMNP organization, this audit position is part of the management and governance group, which is responsible for the overall monitoring of customer cost management, support for internal and external audits, and regulatory compliance. In addition to the above, this position will also be responsible for managing and executing internal RFQs.

Responsibility:

Provide relevant data output through updates/reports and business dashboards
Engage with Audit, Operational Risk and other teams to ensure ongoing compliance with all controls, requirements and standards.
Help deliver results through the CoE agreement, being the overall supervisor for the process
Collaborate with cost partners globally to identify/demonstrate standard processes and continue to translate project responsibilities to CoE as appropriate.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and systems/tools to increase efficiency
Provide overall conceptual and executive guidance as it relates to contract process implementation
Ensure that all key processes and procedures are properly implemented
Provide balance and control for more than 5 million customers worldwide in all aspects of the market, including rates, fees, and other processes.

Minimum Qualifications

Focus on managing and improving business processes
Extensive experience in management control and compliance; Business experience is a plus
Experience working with an offshore team is helpful
Relationship/Emotional Expertise
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
A creative problem solver who seeks to challenge traditional ways of doing things and developing ideas
Self-motivated with strong project management skills
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple requests and take appropriate action
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
SQL experience preferred
A bachelor’s degree is preferred
