The International IT & Global Planning team is responsible for implementing state-of-the-art solutions that align with Costco’s global technology strategy and support Costco’s global expansion. Costco continues to grow internationally and we are looking for a Systems Analyst to support global visibility and operations. The International IT Systems Analyst will be responsible for understanding product requirements, defining what is working and what is not working, planning and maintaining and supporting the International Repository Custom Application (WMS).

This role requires attention to requirements analysis, solution design and process improvement, and the ability to collaborate effectively across various supply, warehousing and distribution functions. Responsibilities include creating project plans, project management, creating expansions, creating reports and providing project support.

The Global IT Systems Analyst is responsible for participating in Scrum events and delivering deliverables at the required level. In addition to providing new technologies and upgrading/supporting existing systems, an effective systems analyst brings the necessary technical, operational and procedural skills, communicates and drives planning, and coaches/trainers. as required.

WORK:

● Conducts analysis of process and application/product data to understand operational requirements, as well as operational accuracy and efficiency.

● Work with application team to develop manual/automated testing plans to support plans implemented during the development process.

● Created requirement traceability matrices to support the delivery of non-functional requirements within the given product/application.

● Identifies and discusses improvement opportunities (functional and non-functional) to improve product quality and performance based on input from technical team members (e.g. process managers, product owners, developers enough).

● Defined the technical requirements documents in accordance with the technical plans and plans prepared by the system designers.

● Translate extensive technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements that product owners and other business stakeholders can understand.

● Prepares release notes that describe functional and technical changes introduced by the application team in a given release.

● Technical knowledge to design, document and implement WMS solutions to meet requirements / specifications for effective business operations.

● Identifies and evaluates improvement opportunities at International Depot.

● Travel may be required, up to 25%, depending on business needs.

● Some non-working hours are required, including weekends and holidays, and on-call support.

Wanted:

● 3+ years of experience in delivery systems is essential, preferably in a cloud environment.

● 2+ years of functional design and engineering design experience in information technology in warehousing, distribution or supply chain operations.

● Implementation experience and expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

● Understanding of SOAP, REST API and MicroServices development.

● Promotes user-centric design thinking in conjunction with agile prototyping, development and testing to deliver technical solutions to the end user.

● Understanding of business needs elicitation to design and maintain highly reliable, scalable and sustainable solutions.

● Expertise in upstream, downstream and financial planning of logistics solutions.

● Get troubleshooting and finding the cause.

● The process can be supported and managed with incident and problem management.

● Have experience working in medium and large companies.
