Main functions:
This supervisory position is required to manage all aspects of the Ground Service Equipment (GSE) warehouse and equipment maintenance. This position is designed to provide support and oversight to a representative warehouse operation. These working groups will provide dedicated parts and support tools for GSE and Enterprise Management teams. This position reports to key members who are responsible for managing the supply chain to support GSE and United’s corporate governance activities.
Warehouse Management
Supervises warehouse production; training schedule; manage user trust issues; Facilitate group recognition programs and support employee accountability programs as required by law
Oversees the performance and execution of the warehouse team against departmental and company-wide goals
Manage staffing levels and ensure team members are properly trained and support all operations including receiving, parts issues and receiving, physical inventory, security, environmental and housekeeping best practices.
Maintain positive working relationships in a team environment that promotes collaboration and achieves established goals
Lead a safe warehouse team in a safe, productive and safe work environment
inventory management and supply chain
Work with strategic and operational teams to determine the most cost-effective product levels considering time in evaluating regional product availability, supplier time while maintaining product levels of critical components important.
Acquire, manage and manage the specialized equipment inventory needed to support our customers
Find out about parts, alternatives, dealer availability and pricing
Ensure that part and cores licenses are properly managed and controlled
Support comprehensive planning in the system
