Summary Of Jobs And Careers
The researcher is responsible for creating research, methods and reports that provide actionable insights. This position will also be involved in cross-functional projects that require a significant focus on data mining. Big data analysis will feature SQL, R, Spotfire and other analysis tools. Activities may include observation, experimental design, performance evaluation, and predictive analysis. The researcher will work closely with partners in various departments.
Develop and manipulate large datasets for data analysis and analysis
Data mining and analysis for ad hoc projects will include: analytical data analysis, predictive analysis and data visualization.
Develop insightful dashboards that management can use to make smart business decisions
Understand and apply the tools available to solve ever-changing business problems
Communicate complex research findings and solutions for aging management

Eligibility:
4+ years of experience as a data analyst, business intelligence developer, or related research role
Willingness to extend familiar programming skills and continually develop/learn new technical skills in support of new tools/methods.
Significant exposure to SQL and relational databases
Full version of Excel
Strong analytical, data management and problem solving skills
The desire to attack a complex dataset
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects collaboratively with a focus on results
Legal authorization to work in the United States should be given to anyone who works without a permit
Bachelor’s degree with a background in a quantitative field (computer science, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering, operations research) preferred.
Masters degree in analytical field preferred
Knowledge of Big Data and Hadoop
Experience in text analysis and machine learning
