Overview Of Main Functions And Activities:
Analysts/Principal Analysts are responsible for evaluating the wide range of flights within the United Airlines network and making changes to optimize the flight system taking into account operational criteria. Services include:
Monitor flight speed, turnaround time, equipment type compatibility, anti-infliction, operator availability and other metrics
Optimize United’s schedule for profitability and performance while considering other critical issues, including safety, customer service, airport operations, flight scheduling, food, flight crew, flight performance, etc. .
Perform ad hoc analysis on scheduling, connectivity and service parameters
Coordinates between multiple business and project teams to ensure the effectiveness of the network strategy
Note: This post is a hybrid with a mix of days worked in the Chicago office and in the interior. Eligibility

What it takes to pass (minimum requirements):
Bachelor’s degree in research studies
3 to 5 years of professional experience in the research field
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office is advanced

Quantitative analysis
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
What will help you to push you out of the peloton (qualification preferred):
Master’s degree in research training
Experience with Saber AirVision / Time Manager
3-5 years of flight planning/planning experience preferred
