The duties and responsibilities of the SOR include, but are not limited to:

  • Promoting timely and safe work
  • Responsible for avoiding delays and eliminating disruptions by resolving or escalating to station management as needed.
  • Worked as key contact for all internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and modify flight data as required, review and submit flight data and fuel information
  • Ongoing planning and coordination of support and assistance, including long-term respite and training
  • Assistance in arranging passenger protection, ground transportation, hotel services and other services during normal business hours
  • Customer service and luggage
  • Plan and manage parking and parking
  • Notify the local cruise kitchen or steward for in-flight meals
  • Edit flight information in any service
  • Give instructions and directions to the plane
  • Since station work is a specialized field, candidates for this position must be trained or willing to be trained in station procedures and policies. Each SOR must become and hold the appropriate aircraft license. This position requires communication and coordination with various parties including NOCs, local airport authorities, and works on various tasks such as IOM updates, FID screen updates, guides local and Microsoft Teams information updates.
  • SORs may also perform other assigned customer service duties and may perform other duties as part of their duties to meet station needs. After completing one year of service in the classification, the ER will provide training and on-the-job training to employees of the same or lower classification through this contract.
  • Business Days: SOR Agents are limited to trading with qualified SOR employees in Pittsburgh (PIT).
Eligibility:

Research

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • 2 years of work related to service personnel, service personnel or airport operations
  • Qualified as a Ground Safety Officer (GSC) and Complaints Officer (CRO)
  • You must be flexible and willing to work any shift 24/7 including weekends, nights and holidays.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship. Complete an additional interview to meet the minimum job requirements
  • Reliable and punctual
