Full Job Description:
Tesla has an exclusive regional opening for a qualified Design Manager to join our strong Business Development team. The creative manager will manage the design and licensing process of the new Tesla factory (which is in North America). We are looking for motivated professionals who know Revit to lead projects. This role will be based locally in the North Eastern United States. what to do
Supervise and own the execution of the production development process – from testing, conceptual design, analysis and due diligence, issue to the limit (IFB) and Issuance for Construction Packages (IFC) with external consultants . Organize all technical and business needs of stakeholders and translate them into conceptual plans based on site-specific conditions. · Manage analysis, charting, and scheduling with internal and external business partners to ensure deliverables are consistent with internal processes.
· Create design concept documents, schematics and specifications. · Review construction documents, shop drawings and respond to RFIs to ensure execution of design intent.
· Ability to understand and communicate work letters within reach of the consultant. · Demonstrate the ability required to quickly switch between tasks to complete multiple organizational tasks.
· Perform local inspection checks and have a thorough knowledge of building codes. Experience in a licensed system is preferred
What to bring
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Architecture or equivalent experience plus evidence of special ability.
3+ years of experience in the field of architecture required. · Design management or architecture firm experience preferred.
Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and 3D Sketchup. Ability to communicate effectively orally, in writing and through drawing/drawing.
· Mechanical, electronic and plumbing knowledge to collect utilities and outside advice. · Good time management and communication skills.
· Attention to detail. Ability to produce results.
