· Perform basic and advanced diagnostics and repairs on all parts of Tesla products
Works independently and as part of a team to maximize repair efficiency
· Provide feedback to Tesla’s design and engineering team immediately to ensure continuous improvement of the repair process and product.
Engage in collaborative, inclusive and respectful practices in a dynamic and ever-changing environment. Take advantage of the company laptop provided to you to prepare for research and provide online training opportunities
Use a variety of advanced hand, power and shop tools
· Consistent and concise material and document maintenance
Inspect and maintain store equipment and request replacements as needed
· Liaising with other team members to ensure the delivery of exceptional products by cleaning and detailing vehicles as needed
Assist in the onboarding and training of new technical staff to help improve the team’s skills
What to bring
High school diploma or associate degree, or work experience in a related technical field (aeronautics, engineering, electrical, marine, etc.)
Automotive technician license or desire to become an instructor from a local school (Canada only)
· Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and processes and adapt to change
· Ability to innovate, solve complex problems and present new ideas
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, manage workloads and meet deadlines
Section 609 Refrigeration Control Certificate Required
Experience working in a team and achieving common goals
