As a member of Tesla’s Autopilot Simulation, you will be in a unique position to increase the rate at which Autopilot improves over time. Important ways the simulation team is realizing this include: – Developing tools that allow Autopilot software developers to conduct virtual tests instead of real ones. – Test all types of Autopilot software for regression behavior. – Generation of synthetic datasets for neural network training.
What to do:
As a Data Science Engineer, you will work on using simulators to create synthetic datasets for neural network training. Data is the key to deep learning systems. Although Tesla relies heavily on ships for data, simulated data provides other unique benefits. This project includes various tasks, including: improving the underlying simulator, creating processes and organizing data that is diverse, real, and useful as possible, conducting neural network training experiments, and reporting on metrics, and expanding effectively. the extent of these processes and the support associated with simulation.
