The Group Marketing Manager, Loyalty Partnership Marketing, will lead a team that develops strategies and delivers campaigns to increase acquisition, engagement and retention of our loyalty partners. This role will determine the most impactful Go-To-Marketing strategies and the right mix of offers, experiences and communications to encourage members to engage with our partnership and become advocates for the Starbucks brand and program. You will work cross-functionally to ensure clear input and messaging for our members across all communication channels and ensure effective implementation, activation and measurement. This role requires someone who is customer-focused and has excellent analytical and financial analysis, the ability to create and execute effective business plans, and strong relationship management skills.
This position reports directly to the Director of Trust Partnerships and Experience Marketing.
As Group Marketing Manager, Loyalty Partnership Marketing, you
Lead a team of 3-4 salespeople focused on going-to-market and supporting marketing strategies for our trusted partners.
Manage your relationships with external loyalty partners, from service members to senior executives. Lead strategic discussions and marketing strategies with the ability to influence partners to achieve common goals.
Collaborate with strategic partners to ensure business objectives are met and to ensure consistency and integration in the member experience throughout the loyalty lifecycle. Develop, implement and continuously improve social media marketing effectiveness based on customer insights, customer level analysis and quantitative analysis.
Lead and collaborate with our internal and external departments (Media, Creative, Marketing Operations) in the development of all social media for acquisition, engagement, retention and brand awareness (through insight to brief to from output to input). Develop positioning, messaging and creative expression for global trust partnership programs.
Collaborate with research, marketing, and partner teams to measure, track, and report campaign results and team behavior. Continually improve and improve the plan by experimenting and learning.
Discover ways to integrate loyalty partnerships into a broader marketing strategy focused on creating more meaningful experiences and value.
We would like to hear from people who have:
1+ years of experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume, customer-facing organization or corporate organization working on loyalty programs or marketing and logistics In-depth knowledge of CRM programs / direct marketing to customers and channels with fees. Experience in a multi-channel retail industry is an asset. Strategic Thought Leadership – possesses strong business acumen and the ability to manage complex and ambiguous business issues and develop strategic strategies.
Business acumen – has strong financial skills and the ability to develop a business plan that includes financial staff. Aggressive decision-making, business nature, ability to generate strong ideas and plan effectively in a changing environment. Experience in managing P&L.
Customer-First Mindset – generate insights and create strategic initiatives that drive interest and loyalty for Starbucks. Experience enables segmentation of customer journeys and customer journeys to deliver activities, value and experiences necessary to deliver business results.
