The International IT & Global Planning team is responsible for implementing modern solutions based on Costco’s global technology tools and supporting Costco’s global expansion. Costco continues to grow globally and is looking to support a Systems Analyst to help with global supply chain visibility and operations. The International IT Systems Analyst is responsible for understanding product requirements, defining functional and non-functional requirements, and configuring and maintaining International Depot (WMS) application requirements.

This role requires expertise in requirements analysis, process design and development, as well as the ability to effectively collaborate on multiple products, their usage, delivery and distribution. This role includes creating functional designs, developing projects, continuous improvement, writing reports and providing operational support.

The International IT Systems Analyst is responsible for participating in Scrum events and providing event deliverables and requirements. In addition to providing new skills and supporting/enhancing existing processes, analysts assess effective processes, operations and technical skills, discuss and foster relationships, and train/coach team members as needed.

  • Perform system and application/product data analysis to understand design trends, performance and operational efficiency.
  • Worked with the application team to create a test manual/plan to implement best practices during development.

  • 3+ years of experience with supply chain, preferably in a cloud environment.
  • More than 4 years of experience in design and engineering work in information technology in warehousing, distribution or logistics.
  • Implementation and expertise of the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Understand SOAP, REST API and MicroServices development.
  • Leverage user-centric design strategies with agile prototyping, development, and testing to deploy technical solutions to end users.
  • Understanding of business needs to create and implement reliable, scalable and sustainable solutions.
  • Expertise in inbound, outbound and financial logistics solutions.
  • Experience in debugging problems and finding root causes.
  • Support systems and manage incident and problem management.
