Main functions:
The flight records manager is responsible for creating, reviewing, and establishing policies, procedures, and controls necessary for the operator (or type of ship), according to the FAA, GMM and DOP departments. It is responsible for developing, updating and ensuring the accuracy of global mainframe forecasts. Ensure compliance policies and procedures and produce complete and accurate compliance records, maintained in accordance with FAA, agency and department retention policies.
Oversees the establishment, validation and revision of computerized central service maintenance and time forecasts, for specifications (or ship types), based on instructions received from the Engineering and/or Mx programs.
Define, assist in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures that ensure timely receipt, response, review and retention of supporting documents (paper / electronic), as applicable, based on assigned responsibilities and / or ship models, airframes, engines or components
Manage and process files related to frequent and special operations (ie aircraft availability, FAA inspections, data migration, FAA/regulations/other department requests, etc.) for operational or fleet specific reports good and / or maintenance record.
Manage and ensure the maintenance of the equipment, including providing employees with the appropriate tools and training
Liaise with other departments on projects and initiatives related to or affecting record flights
