We are hiring for multiple roles across our teams spanning problem domains including capacity management, traffic and failover, running containers on EC2 and our multi-tenant container platform, and running time and performance on the host. We deliver a consistent container runtime environment on EC2 and Titus, our global, multi-tenant, Kubernetes-based container platform that empowers engineers through helpful abstractions, provides a consistent foundation for our broader platform, and increases the efficiency of our infrastructure.
Our data plan manages containers using new approaches to isolation, resource management, developer capabilities, and deep integrations with the Netflix platform and AWS networking and security ecosystems. We ensure high performance for latency-sensitive and critical services and cost-effective execution for interruptible workloads.
Capacity Management
With one of the largest cloud footprints in the world, we strive to efficiently and reliably deliver cloud resources for each of the thousands of microservices and batch workloads that power the Netflix experience, ensuring capacity is available when and where needed. EC2 bookings are centrally managed and transacted seamlessly between teams through an internal spot market that minimizes costs and maximizes usage.
We design and operate usage-changing systems and services quickly and reliably across entire continents to recover from isolated outages in minutes, delivering the high-availability experience members have come to expect from Netflix. We also direct traffic to affect Netflix availability and latency during normal operations.
Essential skills and experience
Recent and proficient experience with Go, Java, Python, or other object-oriented programming languages
Experience building and managing highly reliable distributed systems in a cloud environment

Proven experience in improving the reliability and operational automation of complex multi-level systems
