This technology analyst is investing in the future of Southwest through their work on cybersecurity risks and compliance teams. This role works closely with internal customers across the company to support IT, cybersecurity, and business objectives and manage risks to meet company and government regulations. This group is responsible for the implementation of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standard SP 800-171 that protects uncontrolled information (CUI). He will be responsible for the compliance and regulatory process for the Payment Card Industry (PCI). A technical analyst is happy to join this new team and a champion of continuous improvement. They will have the opportunity to learn and grow their expertise every day while promoting the future of cybersecurity at Southwest Airlines.

This job is offered as a remote work position, which may require travel for training, meetings, conferences, etc. Apart from these mandatory visits, most of your work time may be spent away from our office premises. Please note that although this is a remote area, there are small states or regions that are not eligible for employees to perform their regular duties. The states that are not eligible are: Alaska, Delaware, New Jersey, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
