As a Data Engineer III, you will be part of the Sam’s Global Technologies team and be responsible for improving Sam’s Club’s supply chain products that support Sam’s retail businesses, including but not limited to grocery, transportation , smooth inbound, network, and flow.

Experience in statistical modeling, data mining, data cleaning, data filtering, data mining, and data visualization of structured and unstructured data sets
Expertise in Big Data technologies like Spark, Spark SQL, PySpark, HDFS (Hadoop), MapReduce
Visualization and visualization of data in Tableau/PowerBI/Looker
Experience with cloud services such as: GCP, Azure/AWS Cloud, Databricks, Azure HD Insights, ADF or similar.
Experience working with large Google queries, Dataproc and Airflow
Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases, creating queries (SQL) and familiarity with various databases.
Experience building and optimizing large data pipelines, structures and datasets. Strong analytical skills related to working with unstructured datasets.

Experience with at least one of the following object/function oriented scripting languages: Python, Scala
