The Power System Administrator is responsible for the regular operation and maintenance of the RCID
The power plant produces cold and hot water and compressed air for the Walt Disney World Resort. On a daily basis, they will monitor the condition of equipment and plant systems, responding to all plant related issues and alarms. Field service positions may include working from elevated platforms and enclosed spaces around Walt Disney World Parks and Resort.

The starting price for this position is $27.28

Functions:

Support the operation of equipment (cooling water, hot water and compressed air production), document operating conditions and make necessary adjustments to improve equipment performance.
Make resource plans to meet production needs while maximizing plant efficiency
Respond to emergency situations that may require restarting the entire facility
Perform regular water treatment tests and operate chemical equipment to maintain water chemistry
Cast members may be required to handle chemicals and cleaning equipment
Additional personal protective equipment may be required (face shield, goggles, refillable hand sanitizer, etc.)

Key features:

A valid Florida driver’s license
EPA Universal Certification or successful completion of this certification within 3 months of employment
Four years of work experience in industrial equipment operation or related field • Working knowledge of energy equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, diesel generators, tube heaters, centrifugal air compressors, plants management and resource support.
Experience working with various types of oils, greases and lubricants
Have the ability to interpret plans and design drawings
Ability to lift up to 50 kilograms
Professional writing and social skills
Proficiency in industry standard software and mobile electronic devices
