Full Job Description:

Play a key role in the development of risk at Amazon.com, a world leader in new technologies and services. Amazon is seeking a Senior Risk Analyst to manage property damage for Amazon’s global shipping operations.

Important Role:

Successful candidates on the Risk Management team are passionate about supporting and reporting on risk management and change, and like to work hard and consistently. You focus on demand management, process development and TPA maintenance.

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide oversight of contentious and non-contentious motor vehicle damage management matters.
  • Develop claims strategies and plans to work with attorneys, TPAs ​​and insurance companies.
  • TPA monitoring for timely and accurate information.
  • Work closely with TPA partners to support continuous improvement while promoting flexibility, efficiency and cost control.
  • Collaborate and lead vendors and partners on the creation of new applications and programs that enhance the customer experience while promoting flexibility and affordability.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for TPA partners and internal teams.
  • Apply specialist skills to in-depth application processes, challenge scenarios and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to achieve common goals.
  • Support internal audits to ensure effectiveness and compliance with customer guidelines and operational expectations.
  • Work with vendors to develop and/or update operational procedures based on program objectives.
  • Use and develop metrics to determine data for evaluation processes and recommendations.
  • Work within teams to share ideas, influence change and deliver project results.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s/Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
  • 5+ years of insurance litigation and non-lawyer litigation experience
