Job Summary: As a Pharmacy Technician specializing in Prior Authorization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient processing of prescription medication approvals. This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while supporting CVS Health’s mission to improve patient outcomes and streamline the prescription fulfillment process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process prior authorization requests for prescription medications according to established guidelines and protocols.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to gather necessary information and resolve any issues related to prior authorizations.
  • Maintain accurate records of prior authorization requests, approvals, and denials.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.

  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote environment.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in pharmacy operations or prior authorization is preferred but not required.

Working Hours:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
