As the youngest of all ILM studios, the Mumbai studio draws on the expertise and know-how of over 40 years of Industrial Light & Magic, as well as the best artists and experts in the region . Knowledge and culture flow from the company’s five studios, and global teams share tools and processes to ensure seamless collaboration on all projects. . As we develop ILM Mumbai, we are looking for a composer to become one of the first team members and participate in the development of the studio and the infrastructure.
The compositor combines live action and computer generated content into visual shots to realize the vision and best practices of the client and visual designer. We also ensure the beauty and quality of the final images sent to our customers.

What Are You Doing:
- Evaluate creative ideas and processes for shots with Composite Supervisor and VFX Supervisor.
- We do everything in the composite process including 2D tracking, matte extraction, layering and medium to very complex color grading.
- Keep full face, color balance, and shot and sequence quality to ensure consistency in every finished job.
What We Are Looking For:
- Ability to collaborate with artists from other regions
- Good knowledge of Nuke
- Its aesthetic ability to judge photorealism and color is very good.
- Autonomous and able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Good understanding of composition, color and design
Skills/Ability:
- The ideal candidate has skills in the arts like photography and lighting.
- People familiar with Unix systems prefer
- The ability to write Nuke gadgets and/or plugins is a plus.
- Python and/or C++ experience a plus
