The Starbucks experience begins in our dining and distribution center where we have a dedicated team of professional butchers and process assistants including planning, warehouse management, packaging , food, maintenance, engineering and weapons.
As an environmental, health and safety coordinator, you:
Supports environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs and initiatives that foster a positive safety culture.
Let peers see him as a champion of conservation. Ensure partners meet legal and operational compliance requirements.
Manage the EHS site audit and review process. Tips, follow and continue Els.
Help the es manager to review data and behavior to predict and prevent injury. Actively supports critical aspects of the EHS management process that elevates stakeholders and encourages participation.
Prepare, negotiate and educate clients and teams on changes to policies and practices within the organization. Reads, organizes and edits work efficiently according to company standards.
Support management efforts to ensure compliance with company safety program expectations and applicable federal and state laws. Identify and inform management of compliance issues, safety risks and improvement opportunities through the conduct of daily, weekly and monthly audits.
Assist in facilitating the incident investigation process. Maintains daily, weekly and monthly metrics reports to site management team and corporate reporting systems.
Demonstrate and understand safety as a core value and adhere to safety requirements as outlined in our safety policy; strengthen and train others to do the same. Understand and follow established safety guidelines, following all safety procedures (e.g. PPE, locks, tags).
Support food safety, legal and quality programs. Maintain product quality by adhering to good manufacturing practices, preventive food safety controls, product specifications and quality procedures. Analyze and document quality metrics using analytical tools. Perform other duties as required in support of business objectives and Starbucks mission and values.

We would like to hear from people who have:
High school diploma/GED, US military service or equivalent
College or vocational training preferred
Manufacturing or distribution center (2-3 years)
Work related support (2 years)
Experience with OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910 (1 year)
Ability to apply knowledge of business principles and multidisciplinary practices to achieve successful results in cross-functional projects and programs.

Strong computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, etc.)
