Accounting Fundamentals – You must have a minimum of 4 years of accounting experience supported by a bachelor’s / university degree in accounting, business or economics. Although not required, it is preferable to have a CPA or equivalent certification. Company experience is not necessary for the position if you are enthusiastic about the position, have a good background in accounting (eg experience in J GAAP, US GAAP or IFRS) and can learn quickly .
You have strong communication skills (written and verbal) demonstrated working with stakeholders. WORK
Based in our Tokyo office, reports to the CFO of Japan and collaborates with the Content Account team based in Los Angeles (as well as those in EMEA and APAC). One member is responsible for the financial integrity of the company’s content guarantee, assets (capital), debt (debt) and expenses (amortization).
Developingin and and private contract management process and accounting for content license agreements, with a focus on license fees and payment schedule services. Review and document content license agreements, including interpreting contractual terms and understanding the application of our accounting policies.
Accounts for content created for Japan. Maintain working relationships, including content finance/international finance, tax, legal and corporate acquisitions.
