The Backend Engineer will work with a new interdisciplinary core group to quickly prototype and iterate towards a new game vision, building confidence in a great game prototype that will eventually be put into full production that is available for the Netflix organization.

Work:
Architecture Design: Work with central teams to design the architecture of our backend projects. This includes finding ways to integrate Unity clients and .NET libraries into and developing Netflix infrastructure and backend technologies. Contribute to architecture, learn about any external cloud services we may need, create demos to test and analyze technical/production limitations, and develop our online interactive games. Feature Implementation: Add business logic and core to our shared library. This includes features such as parties, lobbies, games, game time management, and player progress. You’ll also need to provide a way to quickly issue organizational updates, collect feedback, and monitor overall performance.
Resource Pipeline: CI/CD support for backend code changes and think of creative ways to improve the efficiency of the developer experience.
