The goal of the Design Technology XD group is to deepen the technology of the industrial sector. To do this, we work on creating projects where coding will unlock, improve or accelerate new creative ideas. Our team’s tools and infrastructure create solutions that improve the production process at Netflix.
About the job:
This service supports our Design Tools and Resource Groups. You will help develop, manage, support and document critical software for our product partners that work to create best-in-class entertainment systems.
Services include:
– Contribute to the evolution of our product design process by creating tools, core components and Figma plugins
– Responsible for releasing our products and patches on time for internal customers
– Fast deployment for multiple tasks in different software environments
– Manage your relationship with our partners to respond to feedback
– Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to help the team effectively use these tools
About you:
You have a creative mind and a deep understanding of interaction design and the product development lifecycle. You enjoy creating tools that help make your colleagues’ efforts more efficient and impactful.
Your engineering skills are strong, but you’re not a graduate. You have a strong curiosity that compels you to try new technologies, build new platforms, and solve new technical problems. You don’t suffer from “analysis paralysis” and you have the ability to simplify the complexities while prioritizing the most important things. You like relationships. You are involved in your connections with your team and working partners. You deserve to be financially free, and you welcome honest, open feedback as quickly as you give it. You show selflessness by putting the right name for a company, group, or project over your own opinion. What we are looking for
– Skills in JavaScript, Typescript, Node, Git and full software development processes including: auth, CORS, DNS and general DevOps
– Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks (preferably reactive)
– Experience working collaboratively and with people from different backgrounds, experience levels and roles.
– Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate strategy and logic and explain complex technical concepts to non-audiences.
-Interest or experience working with Design Systems
– Preferably have experience with automated releases (preferably Github Actions and/or Jenkins)
-It is good to have experience writing Figma plugins
-Love of movies, TV shows and social media
