We are looking for a Payroll Specialist and Accounting Specialist for our LATAM team. This person will be responsible for managing payroll and accounting for Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico.
The successful candidate has strong experience in accounting and cost accounting skills. They should be curious and analytical, with the ability to improve and simplify processes.
Your primary focus will be to ensure accurate and timely accounting, identify and resolve conflicts, and resolve potential problems. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential to your success in this role.
Functions:
Access payment methods for all LATAM companies;
Manage relationships with local service providers and local government agencies;
Manages all accounting processes related to payroll for LATAM countries. Liaising with colleagues working from finance, tax and IT departments, providing payment and accounting advice;
Analysis of financial statements and balance sheets (US GAAP, Local GAAP & IFRS) – Cost, Quarterly, Miscellaneous Analysis, etc. ;
Prepare accounting files, deposit and reconcile payroll-related accounts;
Ensure that all accounting procedures are carried out correctly, answer questions related to accounting;
Be the point of contact for all matters related to wages and salaries;
Facilitate investigations by providing records and documents to investigators;
Participate in projects and activities related to the main salary, making you a jack-of-all-trades in this area;
Identify and resolve conflicts or problems in the billing and payment process.
Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the payment accounting process;
Be proactive in identifying potential problems and take appropriate action to resolve them;
Improve processes and promote improvements in the payment system and payment system;
Keep abreast of changes in payment rules and regulations to ensure compliance;
Provide advice and ideas to improve the payroll accounting system and overall performance;
Ensure company policies, regulations and standards related to payroll accounting;
Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation/scheduling at current speed;
Actively participate in the development of the world’s global payment system.
