Full Job Description:

Netflix Studios is looking for a Physical Production Coordinator to support Netflix Original Series, UCAN region. This position is based at the Netflix office in Los Angeles, CA and will support the Physical Resources and Archives team.

The Physical Resources and Archives team is responsible for monitoring physical objects throughout their production life; from the purchase or manufacture stage of the project to its end of use. Physical resources are used for various Studio needs, including marketing and public relations needs, to adapt within the Netflix environment, and to protect storage space. The role will work closely with Netflix’s freelance and cross-functional teams to track and manage physical assets for production, marketing, media, booking and other corporate needs that will cross between the Los Angeles office, output and storage as required.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, driven, quick-witted, able to juggle, adapt and manage multiple tasks with an emphasis on organization and attention to detail. This is a demanding and fast-paced position that requires a hard-working and positive individual who can communicate and process complex information from multiple sources.

Work:

Support the Physical Product Specialist during the preparation, production, packaging, printing, launch and final stage of the exhibition.
Compatible with internal functional departments as work processes change and evolve
Coordinates and maintains integration of staff with ongoing documentation and software, organizes meetings and training, assists with day-to-day support as required.
Provide daily support and communication with the person representing the physical assets of the production team
Review equipment and document and software reviews as required to ensure data integrity and receipt of deliverables for entry into the global asset database. Support breathing, labor and fluid production as needed
Assist with warehousing and shipping arrangements
Coordinate with vendors and organizations for resource use, disposal and disposal
Quickly coordinate with travel teams as needed
Update documentation and software as required
Travel between LA office, production and warehouse as required

Eligibility:

BA / BS degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of studio, desktop or set experience in film or video production preferred
Proficiency in data management software and tools (knowledge of Airtable, Slack, FileMaker Pro, Sync On Set and Asset Hub is beneficial but not required)
Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar and Mail) and Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new software and technologies.
A team player who works in a fast-paced team environment
Willingness to continue learning to ensure an understanding of current production processes and engage in new work processes
Strong written and communication skills and the ability to multi-task
Ability and willingness to lift 30 lbs.
