We’re looking for a Privacy Engineer to join our Data Protection team with the exciting mission of keeping all data secure on Netflix! In this role, you will work closely with security and privacy engineers, software and data engineers, product managers, legal, product and engineering leaders to design, develop and maintain effective data management requirements and policies. You will be in control of the entire process of taking legal and regulatory expectations/requirements and translating them into technical requirements, blueprints and roadmaps. In this role, you will set technical direction, create strategies and plans, develop excellent technical documentation, and facilitate alignment across cross-functional teams to ensure our guidance, tools and practices drive measurable improvements in data privacy, both management and of personal information as well as liability. of our privacy program.
