We are looking for a fully trained photographer to join our Photo & AV Studio team as an Optical Technician. This role supports visual merchandising of Netflix products across all user interfaces (UI) and platforms, as well as working with external product communications teams on broader photography. Its main role is to select assets directly from video files for film and television content and provide creative content ideas on a title-by-title basis to former LATAM names. This position will work closely with the global LATAM team as a partner and representative of UCAN, EMEA and APAC. This work includes collaboration with regional production companies, photography and audiovisual studios and social media teams in Latin America. Therefore, the ability to find connections that will contribute to the effectiveness of ideas and affect the global system is important.

Role:

  • Image curation for standalone products. Such as series, feature films, documentaries, animations, stand-up specials and reality shows.
  • Selected images of program tools (thumbnail). Selected images for the trailer and additional program content thumbnails.
  • Quality control (QC) of assets to ensure excellence of product platforms and media. Curate images for specific sponsored ads.
  • Video editing of the name of the event if necessary.

Technology:

  • Training in creation/editing related to the Latin American film and television industry is preferable.
  • Photography or editing. General knowledge of the Adobe suite, including Photoshop and Lightroom, is preferred.
  • Production/editing experience Experience in digital asset management and/or content management is a plus.
  • Ability to manage a project from start to finish without supervision. Ability to provide positive feedback when needed.
  • Attention to detail, problem solving and good communication skills are essential. Good to have: design.
