Responsibility:

Photographers and audiovisual studio professionals will make creative contributions to original Japanese brands such as animation, scripted/scripted series, films, documentaries, docuseries and comedy specials. Through close collaboration across multiple departments, from marketing and PR to product and content, our experts are tasked with bringing your brand plan needs to life. They will be based at the company’s Japanese office.

This role requires a high level of creativity, a curious and innovative attitude, strong project management skills and experience suited to effective storytelling. This role covers photography and videography, using knowledge of television and film production, filmmaker relations, public relations and owners. Eight companies to create, strengthen and promote business and publicity in the APAC market .

Job responsibilities include:

  • We work closely with PR, marketing, social media, product and content partners to develop and execute content strategies.
  • Use our expertise and innovation to solve business opportunities through clear and engaging production (audio and video assets).
  • Responsible for maximizing productivity during production to meet the needs of creative projects. Ease of communication from the organization to the stakeholders
  • Innovate and create stories that tell the story behind the story. Conduct in-depth interviews with on- and off-screen talent to uncover and create stories that support your campaign.
  • Read articles, plan, hire and supervise photographers and videographers to capture the best of the production. Encourage cooperation in business

Skills and requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience as a content developer, creative designer, art director in home or in-store entertainment and lifestyle
  • Marketing, public relations and/or communications work in an entertainment studio or production company
  • A strong creative eye with a solid understanding of visual storytelling in audience-focused communication programs
  • Understanding and communicating with the Japanese photo and video industry and working knowledge of digital media and large format
  • General knowledge of Adobe Suite including Photoshop and Pro preferred
  • Business level knowledge of Japanese and English is preferred.
