We are looking for an experienced CEO to lead our Marketing & Strategy team. This group provides strategic, financial and research support for various products, media marketing and social groups that directly impact our revenue growth. This person will manage a global team across five product-related areas that directly impact revenue: (1) Advertising, (2) Partnerships, (3) Pricing and Packages, (4) Payments, and ( 5) budget and budget. This person is a strategic partner for these businesses and product leaders, helping to develop strategic plans that will help the company increase their revenue in the short and long term. This person will have high visibility with senior management and is a key employee for the organization. This role will be based in Los Gatos or Los Angeles, CA and will report to the Vice President of Finance and Strategy for Studio, Business, Product and Games.
Main Functions:
Lead, direct and inspire team members and close relationships with product/business owners in the five areas described above.
Develop an understanding of the variables that drive financial growth and the factors we have to influence that growth. Provide timely and useful information, ideas and research support
Private communication within the company about the revenue trend and the growth of the country by country and as a whole
Work with product/business managers to develop financial plans
Collaborate with local organizations to support the creation of specific community growth plans
Lead ongoing initiatives to drive revenue / growth
Working with limited management, in a complex and often confusing environment, to create strong and realistic recommendations to senior and project / regional management.
Eligibility:
3+ years of experience in strategic roles in areas related to growth / marketing / pricing / finance and customer technology.
Experience working in a product management company. The ideal candidate has experience working in a business with multiple revenue streams analyzing markets/opportunities across all industries. Preference for candidates who have worked in subscription and media companies. Demonstrated track record of leading, motivating and building excellent teams
Ability to identify key issues; define, implement and organize research; communicate results clearly and concisely; and find creative and innovative solutions.
Applicants must be willing to “roll up their sleeves” and be self-motivated, proactive, disciplined, flexible and able to work with effective independence. Has the ability to effectively collaborate and drive initiatives with collaborative partners.
Strong communication skills, common sense and good team involvement skills are essential. MBA and Management Consulting experience is a plus
