We are looking for a Supplier Management Specialist to support our supplier management operations in Latin America. Our supplier experts work on the end-to-end process of managing supplier registration data, from onboarding to shipping on a global scale. The team investigates fraudulent activity and ensures the accuracy of merchant registrations to improve P2P quality, data analysis, and compliance programs. This position will be based in our Alphaville office and be part of the global sales management team. This position will interact with regional and global teams and vendors, supporting global operations while leading initiatives specific to the LatAm region. The ideal candidate is highly focused, able to analyze and process large-scale transactions at a high level, has excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of the P2P process.

Functions:

Manage large transactions in multiple languages ​​and currencies. Manage the day-to-day navigation and processing of new and existing customer records, as well as migration and deletion of vendor records.
Review and verify the accuracy of information recorded on international suppliers (ie bank information, tax treatment, contact details). Monitor and prevent fraud in relation to transaction processing and settlement requests (ie bank account changes).
Collaborate with AP billing and payment teams for all updates to vendor records required for accurate payments. Coordinate production and maintain sales and tax records to ensure local compliance and accurate tax classification.
Review sales tax forms (ie W-8, W-9) to determine the appropriate global tax structure. Review and process supplier requests, escalating as needed.
Help internal stakeholders and external vendors use our vendor tools to onboard, track, and help resolve issues. Keep up with changes and procedures related to anti-fraud.
Identify and promote process improvements and automation opportunities, working with FinTech teams. Contribute to systems-related initiatives, including testing and implementing system improvements and other system improvements.
Perform monthly closing activities as required (ie update vendor files) and assist the accounting and finance team closely. ask for information
Provide operational support for management strategies and sales operations.
