Full Job Description:
Integrated Inventory Management: Assists in inventory reporting and cycle counts to achieve desired results in the inventory area with accuracy/dateness. Conducts routine inspections/circular audits to determine location accuracy. Corrects any inaccuracies in accounting records and performs audits. Prepares and executes quarterly FDC applications. Damage control will also be a central function of the managed team.
Basic functions:
Maintain a safe workplace by supporting safety training and emergency preparedness. Be available and respond to calls/notifications from the work team to answer questions and resolve inventory issues immediately.
Trained in electrical equipment (eg forklifts) for moving and stacking pallets
Leverage Single Point of Control (SPOC) process for the entry, dispatch and selection of shopping carts
Investigate and resolve problems during operation
Analyze equipment health and performance indicators to develop recommendations for changes and inform management of process updates or corrective actions needed. Check the flow rate of the main components of the system and the hourly input
Learn Target’s Warehouse Management System (WMS) to understand daily operations and support system troubleshooting
Use a WMS tool to automate the movement of goods such as inventory management or inventory management
Create and maintain open lines of communication with cross-departmental members
Systematically and physically monitor the movement of the carrier and the goods, correcting errors or obstacles as they arise.
Use reports on error rates, capacity utilization, or other metrics to identify trends and suggest improvements
Manage product inventory and dating standards in booking and choosing locations by working with annual reports and daily/weekly trends, which can be triggered by:
Body count
Integrity of place
Damage date
Manage accurate inventory prices and reservations at the location of your choice
Make product changes based on damage and quality reports
Perform cycle count analysis
Process and dispose of damaged/expired products
Destroy
Deliverance
Charity
Find and fix problem areas or damaged loads
Run the Return to Stock (RTS) process.
Controls the memory system
Adopt and implement Lean processes, Six Sigma tools and 5S processes in the workplace to improve cleanliness and document defects for root cause analysis.
Project support/initiation throughout the supply chain drives innovation and design/development processes. Need a job
Minimum Requirements:
Works independently and in a team environment.
Able to lift and carry loads weighing 35-45 lbs. frequently during transitions and up to 60 lbs. sometimes. Ability to read, use relevant skills and understand job/product documentation
Good verbal and written skills.
Can use computer systems with minimal instruction after training. Ability to investigate errors/problems and identify root causes of these errors.
Ability to perform basic data analysis in Excel.
