Our team develops productivity tools to empower Netflix’s machine learning team. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled engineer to join our team of engineers, SREs and ML researchers. As a member of this team, you will design, build and manage the tools our machine researchers use every day. You’ll be part of a large research organization focused on machine learning focused on Netflix, which powers our recommendations, personalization and search algorithms (and many other areas). You will work closely with our ML researchers to identify conflicts, and to design and develop solutions to them.

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong software engineering background, strong software design skills, and experience working on large scale CI and architecture systems (Bazel experience is a plus). If you’re ready to make a difference in an important industry, and want to work with machine learning and productivity tools, in a company that believes in both, we’d love to talk to you.

Is required:

5+ years of software engineering experience with a successful track record of delivering quality results
Strong software design and development skills (Scala, Java, C# or C++). Experience with big data systems such as Spark, Hadoop, etc.
His experience with computers is similar to distribution
BS in Computer Science or related field
Likes, but doesn’t want:
Experience working with and configuring Bazel or distributed goat systems (such as Buck, Pants, etc.). Help is essential for open projects
Experience with machine learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
